Gary's Muffins / Deli

The Rise and Fall of the Muffin Empire is a book that should be written, but probably won't, at least not by me. Nevertheless it is worth mentioning that I set up Gary's Muffins in 1993 and it eventually grew to 7 shops then shrunk back to one, which unfortunately died during Covid. About 1000 people worked at Gary's over the years, and many became prominent in different fields such as filmmaking, directing, human rights litigation and more..
